How it will work

Once 10 people register, we will announce the start date of the next live workshop. The 3 sessions (3 hours each) will take place on Zoom.

Every session will start with a live demonstration of the topic. Then, you’ll implement the solution in your system. If you get stuck, you can ask questions live. We have developers ready to help you through any roadblocks.

To make sure that every student gets sufficient attention, we’re limiting the workshop to 15 students.

** The plan is to finish each session after 3 hours. In some cases, sessions might take longer, as we want to make sure that everyone is on track. **

All sessions will be recorded. So if you miss a session or want to refer back to it later, you’ll have access to the recordings.

Step 1: How to think about automations
First, we’ll gather your high-level business needs and visualize them in a flow chart. Getting clear on your goals is crucial and needs to happen before we can dive into the details of how we’re going to achieve them.

Results: You’ll understand how to extract and communicate your business needs and apply them to your system.

Step 2: Dive into Zoho CRM Workflows
Workflows allow you to automate your sales, marketing, and customer support. You can automatically assign tasks to team members based on the criteria you’ve defined. In this session, you’ll learn all about workflows and the different options available. We’ll experiment with most of them to show you how they work in practice. This way, you can choose the right workflows for your business.

Topics we’ll cover:

  • Create a record based workflow
  • Create a date based workflow
  • Send an email notifications using automation
  • Send a Cliq notifications using automation
  • Create Tasks using automation
  • Create a new record using automation
  • Send a webhook using automation

We’ve prepared three exercises for you, so you can apply immediately what you’ve learned:

Exercise: Send a Cliq and email notifications when a new lead is created
You’ll learn how to automatically trigger notifications to specific team members when a new lead comes into your CRM. This way, the right person can follow up with the lead right away before they get cold.

Exercise: Create a task when a deal reaches a certain stage
You’ll build a workflow that automatically creates tasks for your team members once deals reach specific stages in the system. This way, you can be sure that deals always move forward and no step in the process is forgotten.

Exercise: Create a Zoho CRM email drip campaign using workflows
You’ll create an email drip campaign for your business that automatically sends a series of emails to a new lead to warm them up to your business. Once a lead responds, the campaign stops, and you’ll receive an alert.

Results: You’ll know how to create new workflows and how to manage them.

Step 3: Master Blueprints

Blueprints allow you to execute your business processes in the exact way you designed them. They guide your team and even fully automate routine actions. In this session, you’ll learn what Blueprints are and how to design and create them.

  • What are states
  • What are transitions
  • What are the options in the different Blueprint options (before, during, after)
  • How to design a Blueprint and apply it on the canvas board
  • How to use a Blueprint

This Blueprint will grab the correct details when you create a meeting with a client and log the minutes of the meeting once it’s over.

Exercise: Create an advanced Blueprint to manage a lead

You’ll create a Blueprint to manage your lead cycle.

Exercise: Create an advanced Blueprint to manage a deal

You’ll create a Blueprint to manage your deal cycle.

Results: You’ll be able to create your own Blueprints and effectively maintain existing ones.
